How IT All Works

ARISE Online is designed to help you dig into the big story of Scripture and live on mission while juggling life’s demands. Here’s how it works.

When you register to go through ARISE Online, you will need to choose to your learning path. We have a 6- or 12-month path available and you’ll get a study plan to help you stay on track. However, these timelines are merely suggestions. With lifetime access, you can take as long as you need to move through the material. If you want to finish in 6 months, it will require 10 to 12 hours of engagement with the content every week. The 12-month path is based on about 5 to 6 hours online every week.

When you sign up for the course, you will join a group made up of all the other people who selected the same learning path. You’ll interact with these classmates in the group discussions throughout the course.

Our curriculum is divided into two parts: The Story and The Telling. The Story is an overview of Scripture and is told in seven chapters. It covers the meta narrative of the Bible while keeping God’s love always at the center. The Telling is a collection of classes that focus on the practical aspects of how to tell the story. You can see a full overview of the content in our curriculum guide.
